Mission Trips

Senegal

• November 7-14, 2026

In Senegal, our teams work with local believers to share the gospel in places where it has never been shared, disciple new believers, minister to young churches which have been recently planted, and bring resources like Bibles and audio Bibles in the heart language of various people groups.

Guatemala  (Spanish-Speaking)

• March 13-18, 2026

This partnership led by the Spanish-speaking ministry of Southern Hills is focused on working with a church planter to reach the lost and plant churches in Guatemala. 

New York City, NY

• Date TBD

Southern Hills partners with Queens Church in New York City to help with outreach events, reach the lost, and work towards planting more churches throughout New York City.  

Broomfield, Colorado

• July 18-25, 2026

In Broomfield, Colorado, our teams partner with a young church family, Redeemer Church, to minister and reach their local community through outreach events in local public parks. These park events create opportunities for families to come enjoy food and fellowship in a safe environment, to connect Redeemer Church to as many community members as possible, and to open doors for gospel conversations.

Cincinnati, Ohio

• June 20-27, 2026

In Cincinnati, Ohio, our church sends members to work with Pastor Jonathan Howard and Bridge City Church to come alongside them and minister to their local community through acts of service like painting fire hydrants or assisting in Bridge City’s Vacation Bible School.

Salt Lake City, Utah

• June 29-July 5, 2026

Partnering with Pastor Nathan Brock at Redemption Church, our members are sent to work with these church families in an effort to evangelize the community in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Boarding Pass Trip

• July 22-25, 2026

The Bridge Trip is an SHBC trip which serves as a reward for those 5th and 6th graders who complete a year’s worth of missions education requirements. These 5th and 6th graders research people groups, read missionary biographies, create and present mission projects in adult Sunday School classes, and complete various other missions related tasks to earn this trip.

Canada

• June 26-July 3, 2026

In Canada, our team partners with local workers and local churches to perform outreach events, language learning, and other activities to reach the lost in incredibly diverse cities and communites. 

Virginia

• Spring, February 14-22, 2026

Our church family has the incredible privilege of sending teams to minister to the children of missionaries while their parents undergo additional field training. On these trips to Virginia, our teams will host a Vacation Bible School for these missionary kids and have the opportunity to love and care for them throughout the week. This is an incredible opportunity to show love to these missionary families and minister to missionary kids.

CrossTimbers Work Day

Every year, our church sends a team to CrossTimbers, the largest Baptist children’s camp in Oklahoma, to assist in building or updating features throughout the campus to maintain and improve the campgrounds. This one-day event is an opportunity for our church family to have a direct impact in helping advance the ministry of CrossTimbers to evangelize and disciple young people from all across the region.
